The amalgamation of the Ministry of Education, Youth, Sports & Culture in May, 2007, brings together four critical areas, represent our nation’s greatest potential for advancement, and provides a firm foundation for democratic progress and economic development. The Ministry is cognizant, that these empowering dimensions will assist in producing an informed, contributing citizen, who is able to compete globally.

This Website combines the strength of print and television marketing with text, and will eventually, include animation. It will increase the public’s awareness of the services offered and improve communication between the Ministry and its departments: Department of Education, Department of Youth & Sports, Department of Culture, Department of Archives, Bahamas Technical & Vocational Institute (BTVI), The College of The Bahamas, and the Department of Higher Education & Lifelong Learning.

The Website features current events, policy documents, publications, application forms,scholarship forms and useful information relating to education, youth, sports and culture.
